ZAFUL Bikini Review: Is it Legit?

I have been so into ZAFUL for so long. I have watched so many ZAFUL hauls ever since they have been uploaded onto YouTube, and as of right now, I have ordered from their website four times now. I usually order items that have worked for YouTubers to lower the risk of wasting money.

In all my orders from ZAFUL, I have noticed a couple of things. The shipping is extremely long!! I usually have to wait a month or two for the items to reach me. The clothes and swimwear on their website are always super cute and trendy. ZAFUL constantly offers deals and coupons, making the cost cheaper.

In my first order, I ordered the Padded Cami Bikini Set in Coffee and the Cut Out Palm Tree One-Piece Swimwear--both pictured below for $32.60.

When the swimsuits came in the mail, I was so excited. The fabric felt so comfortable. I wear that bottom in the bikini set as underwear. The swimsuits looked like the images on the website. However, a negative aspect can be the bottoms being too cheeky. Some people are into that look. However, when I was wearing the bikini set on the left at the beach, I felt a little self-conscious because I wasn't used to my swimwear being that revealing. As for the piece on the right, some of the stitching was coming undone after just receiving the items in the mail. However, the stitching was not bad enough for me to fix it.

Me Wearing the One-Piece Last Summer

Overall, my experience with the website was good enough for me to order from them again, so I ordered the Crossed Front Chunky Wrap Sweater for $13.98. I am quite upset by this order because the sweater was much more difficult to wear than I expected. The sweater looked like a very long scarf with tubes on the ends. You're supposed to put your arms through the tubes. In general, you were supposed to wrap yourself in the scarf-looking sweater and somehow achieve this look:

Though I did get the sweater to look like this, I could not move freely without the fear of a nip-slip. I wished this worked out; I watched a YouTuber model this sweater, and it looked absolutely gorgeous on her. From this point on, I decided not to buy clothing items from ZAFUL. They seemed to be known for their swimwear--rightfully so.

The third time around, I ordered the Bowknot Textured High Cut One Piece Swimsuit in white, the Low Waisted Spaghetti Strap Bikini Swimwear in red, and the Bandeau Palm Leaf String Bikini for $47.97.

The Bowknot Textured Swimsuit was ribbed and could double as a bodysuit. I was very happy with this piece; it fit me well. And like the other bikinis on the website, it was cheeky. The Low Waisted Spaghetti Strap Bikini also looked amazing. However, the bottoms were a bit tight and kind of made me look like I had a slight muffin top. Moreover, in the back, the bottoms looked a little baggy. I would still wear this swimsuit at the beach because overall, the swimsuit still looks cute on me. As for the last one, I was really disappointed. The bottoms still didn't fit me at all despite the bottoms being adjustable. The design of the bottoms just did not make sense. The waist area was too big and created a lot of fabric in the back when I put them on. The top was also too big, but that can easily be salvaged. I am going to try to make the bandeau tighter. As a note, I bought the bandeau bikini even though I haven't seen a haul with it.

In summary, I was very happy with my first order. I was "meh" with my second order. The sweater was cute but too impractical to wear. I would have to be very immobile wearing this sweater. I was also "meh" with my third order. Since the third item was not wearable, I essentially paid ~50 dollars for 2 items though that is still a pretty good deal.

I just ordered 5 more bikinis for around $50. I lack self-control, and all the swimwear looked so cute! Hopefully, I will be satisfied with this order. From my experience with ZAFUL, I learned to only order swimwear from the website and to order swimwear that has worked for other people. For sizing reference, I ordered all the items in a small. I am 4"11' and weigh 108 pounds. My waist is sightly above 25 inches and my hips are around 33 inches.
